Born in 1973 Marco Acerbis graduated from Politecnico di Milano in 1998. From 1997 to 2004 he has lived in London where he worked with Lord Norman Foster's Studio. Over these years he has collaborated with the construction of an eight-storey high Medical Research Building at the Imperial College Campus in London. He then became a Project Architect for Capital City Academy, a 250-meter long High School for 1400 students, which was opened by the British Prime Minister.

His interests cover a wide range of subjects from architecture to product design, from interior design to graphic art. He designs products for Max Design, Fontana Arte, Desalto, Colombo Design, Baldassare Agnelli Cooking Tools, Alias, Acerbis International.

In line with his interest for sustainable architecture he is responsible for designing Xeliox Energy Lab, the first industrial building to be certified Class A in Italy.

Vertigo floor lamp is included in the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. “Prius” door handle has a special mention at the XXI edition of the Compasso d’Oro Award. Standing shelving won the 'Young & Design Competition' third prize at the Milan Furniture Fair of 2000.

He lives and works in Bergamo.
